I talked with Nancee Reck, the attendence clerk at school and there has been little change or updates. There has been an increase in illnesses, some because of the H1N1 and some just seasonal flu. But, the staff has handled that carefully. November has been a rough month. After winter break ended, things are back to normal and the pace is slow. There was a lower number of sicknesses last year compared to this year. Students are only allowed to miss ten school days after the holidays are over. There are also many students doing independent study. She says that things will be slowpaced at the office for a couple months until March hits. Then, they will expect more of the spring flu/colds. Absenses and tardies have gone back to normal and steady.
