News front page: There should be a picture to go with the article about raising money for Haiti with shirt sales. The talent show picture isn’t really news and it is featured in the A & E section. Although, the talent show photo is good it is square. The contrasting is a bit strong, but since it was dark it is fine. The articles of of the front page run along vertically and horizontally. The vertical leg article is less than 12 inches deep which is fine since we are trying to avoid dummying legs more than 12 inches deep. The headline also sits at the top of the text which is a positive thing. The horizontal article on the front page looks pleasing to the eye.
Opinions page four: Shouldn’t the column be in a column format? The text wrap above the high school relationship article makes the entire thing look weak. They should wrap the text below or beside the art not above it. The articles on this page contain a single photo/picture or none which is good compared to having two pictures. Other than that, I like the way this page was formated. I thought that the placement of the pictures and the text were decent.
